PROGRAM LAUNCH – WORK AND SKI DOWN UNDER!!

Australian Internships is proud to promote paid Internship opportunities for suitable candidates with an Australian Ski Resort located in the heart of Perisher Valley in New South Wales.

Perisher Valley is home to one of Australia’s premier snowfields and is located in the Kosciusko National Park, a 2½ hour drive south of Canberra; the nation’s capital and a 6 hour drive from Sydney.

Australian Internships is looking for talented, fluent English speaking candidates with an average skiing ability and some experience in resort or
hotel management.

The Program Includes:

• Paid positions – minimum of 25 hours up to 40 hours

• Program Available June – October 2008

• Accommodation and all meals provided at subsidised rates
  
  
• 20% discount on Retail and Food and Beverage, Free ski and board lessons and discounts on Hire Gear, free access to all
  lifts.
  
  
• Full orientation course upon commencement
  
  
• Assistance to set up Tax File Number
  
  
• Support & assistance with interview
  
  
• Regular contact from appointed Internship Program Supervisor

Program Requirements:

• Candidates must be in excellent health – physically demanding work
  
  
• Education background in Hospitality is a must for Food and Beverage
  candidates
  
  
• Ski Instructors must have three years skiing experience
  
  
• Candidates must have a valid 6 month working holiday visa
  
  
• High level of English skills (written & spoken)
  
  
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and all levels of
  staff
  
  
• All candidates must provide evidence of valid insurance
  
  
• Candidates must be positive with good work ethic
  
  
• Have attention to detail and be flexible
